Numediacy is working with the Northern Kentucky Chapter Sierra Club and
Kentuckians for the Commonwealth on the
5th Annual Video Festival Water: Our Liquid Asset.
The festival received a great turnout! As the title explains this year's theme was Water.
Attendees learned about N. KY water issues and viewed our short documentary titled C.O.R.E (Covington's Ohio River Erosion). Attendees also watched Liquid Assets, Bag it, and a short video from The Society for Freshwater Science.
Numediacy is heading to Washington D.C. in support of the Forward On Climate rally! DSLRs and mics in tow we are going to interview some of the thousands of people attending the nation's largest rally in history. Check out our video portfolio to see the 26 minute document of the best 35,000 people we have ever met!
Arcade Water installation at Art Off Pike in Covington, Kentucky. September 2012. We hauled four truck loads of Ohio River drift wood, welded light sculptures, echoed the sounds of the Ohio River, and projected the Covington Ohio River Erosion video project to create this river installation in the Pike Street "arcade" or tunnel. We were awarded the Most Creative and congratulated on our successful use of the space. Art off Pike is typically a crafts fair but we were happy to present the video and the transformed space for the enjoyment and education of the public at no cost.
